Tapioca chips is one of the most popular south Indian snack. Most of them used to buy it from the stores. If we had a sharp thin slicer and a medium sized tapioca we can easily make a bunch of tapioca chips.
Ingredients:- Tapioca-1 long
- Oil-for deep frying
- Salt-to taste
- Chilly powder/ paprika- as per taste
- Peel off the skin of tapioca and wash them well.
- Slice them round and quickly add in to the hot oil one by one (don't add all of them together to the oil; then it will stick together. If you are experienced; You can slice them directly to the hot oil; )
- Stir fry until the sides of the tapioca gets golden in color.
- Drain in to colander; sprinkle little salt and chilly powder on top.
- Serve hot with a cup of tea.
- You can store them in an air tight container up to two weeks.
