Ingredients:
- Brown Rice flakes-1 cup (or white)
- Thinly grated coconut- 1/4 cup
- Oil-1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds-1 tsp
- Onion thinly chopped-1 large
- Ginger thinly chopped-1 tbsp
- Green chilly thinly chopped-2
- Coriander leaves chopped-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Samosa sheets-about 15 numbers
- Oil-for frying
- Wash the rice flakes well in water and soak them in water for 2 minutes. Drain it well and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan; splutter cumin seeds.
- Add thinly chopped ginger and saute for a minute.
- Add thinly chopped onion and saute for another a minute.
- Add all the powders (except salt)and green chilly on low flame; Mix well.
- Add Grated coconut and rice flakes.
- Stir Cook for about 5 minutes and switch off the flame by adding coriander leaves.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely before filling.
- After cools down fill one or two tablespoons of filling in each sheets and fry until nice golden.
- Drain in to paper towels and serve warm!!!
